Brief History
SOLAVANCE originated from the transformation of a small transport cooperative made up of 18 partners from the provinces of Córdoba, Jaén, and Granada, called JACOTRANS, S.C.A.
As the transport sector evolved and underwent major structural reforms, the management decided to take a step forward by incorporating new shareholders and undertaking a comprehensive business reorganization effort.
With the arrival of new capital partners came the need to integrate a professional team – both in internal operations and in transport assets – thus giving rise to the new “SOCIEDAD OPERADORA LOGÍSTICA AVANCE, S.A.” (SOLAVANCE), made up of professional and business groups capable of delivering an efficient management model. SOLAVANCE’s mission has always been to generate added value through all services related to transport activities, providing a more competitive and effective service.
Operations began in early 2010 with just over 50 tautliner vehicles, which already served both national and international transport demands. In 2016, new activities in storage and goods transit were incorporated, adding high competitive value to both full and – especially – partial loads.
